Had this happen to my son hit from behind by trac-trlr. Pistol went flying, confiscated for ballistics but was returned without any filing needs. I believe it was only returned easily bc my son lost both legs, serious head & internal damage & I immediately asked LE if gun was retrieved. This occurred 2 counties above accident your discussing in June 2018. I also think ALL wearing cuts are being targeted.

Sounds like Noa watched too many episodes of Sons of Anarchy. He's not going have access to
a gun in prison, combat in there is "hand to hand". He'll have a certain degree of status going in
because he's a member of the Outlaws, but he will be tested. Is he up to the challenge? Probably
not, if u look at the cowardly nature of his crime. Cons read the papers too.
The biker could have murdered someone with that gun, and as soon as his lawyer would have contested the introduction of the firearm evidence, any other evidence that was developed from the illegal seizure of the gun would have been deemed inadmissible. Fruits of the poisonous tree, the case would be dismissed. That was a stupid move by the police dept. Gotta do things the right way, no matter who the defendant is.

Cops are so stupid. They illegally take a firearm hoping a ballistic test will link it to another crime. Even if it was though,it would have to be thrown out due to being found in an illegal search and seizure. Good way to let a potential criminal(from their perspective)get off Scot free for a crime when you loose the evidence
